So, you have never heard of Yoshi, eh? Yoshi is a green dinosaur that has the ability of extending his toungue long distances. He can simply swallow an enemy that gets in the way of his toungue, or he can spit them out for stratigic uses. In new Yoshi games, Yoshi can flutter jump. This special move lets him hover in the air for a second or two or can help him reach higher places. He can also 'ground pound', which is a very useful move as it can help him push down buttons that he couldn't push just by stepping on, find hidden fruit, or defeat tough enemies. Another new move of his is the egg throw. In newer games, he produces an egg when he swallows an enemy. The eggs can be thrown to hit switches, hearts, bonus flowers, anything!!
